Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions below apply to all coaching and other services provided by Parenting with Purpose to any person or other entity (“You”) using any service provided by Parenting with Purpose.
Parenting with Purpose is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 150890. Our registered office is at Onslow Square, London SW7 3NP.
1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
By completing an online booking form or for any bookings made over the phone or by email or WhatsApp for a particular course or event, You are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”). The Contract is formed when we send You a booking confirmation.
2. Payments
The prices for our services are specified on our website.
Our prices are inclusive of any VAT that may be due.
Payment for any course is required in full before the start of the course unless agreed otherwise in writing and will be requested at the time of booking or when a place on the course is confirmed over the phone or via email.
Most payments are made using STRIPE or via on-line bank transfer, except where agreed otherwise in writing between us. Bookings taking advantage of any discount must be paid in full prior to the lapse of the offer in order to secure the discount.
In situations where a third party pays the fees, the third party counts as an agent acting on behalf of the client.
3. Cancellations:
Cancellations by Parenting with Purpose
In the event that we have to cancel a session of one of our courses or a one-on-one session, we will endeavour to give you a minimum of 48 hours’ notice and the you will be entitled to a full refund of the pro rata cost of the course session or full cost of the one-on-one session, or if you prefer any payments made can be credited towards further sessions.
Cancellations by the client of a course
For cancellations made at least 7 days or more before the scheduled start of the course, you will receive a full refund less a £25 administrative fee or, if you chose, any payments made may be credited towards a future course without an administrative charge. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the start of a course will receive no refund, nor will a place on an alternative course be offered.
If you decide to cancel your course attendance after the commencement of a course, Parenting with Purpose will offer you a credit toward another course or a private session or sessions up to the value of the pro rata cancelled classes, less an administrative fee of £25.
Cancellations by the client of a one-on-one session
If You are unable to attend a one-on-one session, and have given us a minimum of 48 hours’ notice of cancellation, we will refund the fee paid for the session. If you cancel the session giving us notice via email or telephone call between 48 and 24 hours before the session, Parenting with Purpose will refund 50% of the fee paid. Cancellations with less than 24-hour notice will receive no refund.
Cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control
If there is failure to perform, or a delay in performance, of any of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to Circumstances Beyond Our Control, we will not be liable for such failure. Circumstances Beyond Our Control include any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation lock-outs, strikes, civil commotion, riots, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, invasion, war (whether declared or not), explosion, fire, flood, storm, subsidence, epidemic, earthquake, or other natural disaster, or failure of private or public telecommunications networks.
If any Circumstances Beyond Our Control affects the performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions, you will be notified as soon as reasonably possible. The time for performance of our obligations will be extended and our obligations under these Terms and Conditions will be suspended for the duration of the Circumstances Beyond Our Control.
If Circumstances Beyond Our Control occur and continue for more than 30 days and you do not wish us to provide the services, you may cancel the contract. We may cancel the contract if the Circumstances Beyond Our Control continues for more than 30 days. IN either circumstance, we will refund 50% of pro rata amounts paid, less a £25 administration fee.
4. Recordings
Parenting with Purpose may record on-line interactive/live courses. Any recordings of an event can be made available to those people who either attended that event or to people registered for that event who subsequently are unable to attend that event due to unforeseen circumstances. All clients hereby agree to keep confidential anything said by any participant in that event.
5. Privacy policy and Cookie Policy
Registration and other information provided by you is subject to our Privacy Policy and shall only be used in accordance with it. For more information, please go to our policies on this website.
6. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between You and us and supersede all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between us, whether written or oral.
7. Child Safety
Subject to the provisions below, the content of our sessions will not be discussed with anyone except Parenting with Purpose employees or Directors for the purpose of furthering our service to You and this will be done in confidence and with total anonymity.
If at any time while in a session with any of our clients, we believe that a child is suffering or at risk of suffering significant harm then we will take steps to inform the appropriate authorities as required by law.
8. Representations
You acknowledge and agree that by entering into this Contract with us You do not rely on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy.
You shall not have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation against us based on any statement in these Terms and Conditions
Except as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, we do not give any representation, warranties or undertakings in relation to the services. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage You suffer that is a foreseeable result of our negligence or our breach of the Terms, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by You and us at the time we entered into this contract.
10. Miscellaneous
You cannot transfer your rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to any another person without our written approval.
This contract is only between You and us. No other third person shall have any rights to enforce any terms.
Our failure to insist that You perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or to enforce our rights against You, or delay in doing so, does not mean that our rights against You have been waived and does not mean that You need not comply with those obligations. Any waiver by us of Your default will be only in writing, and it does not mean that we will waive any of Your future defaults.
